Happy ’80s Birthday to Dave Martinez, who spent 16 seasons in the bigs with nine teams. He was the Opening Day right fielder for the Tampa Bay Rays first game and won a World Series as manager of the Washington Nationals. 

Kelvin Moore was born OTD in 1957. Moore was the A’s Opening Day first baseman in 1983 and played parts of three seasons with Oakland. He passed away in 2014.
