Dave Henderson was born OTD in 1958. He won a ring with the A’s in 1989 and racked up more than 1300 hits over his career with the Mariners, Red Sox, Royals, and Giants.

He passed away in 2015.

Happy ’80s Birthday to The Mad Hungarian, who finished 3rd in the 1975 N.L. Cy Young race when he went 13-3 with 22 saves for the Cardinals.

Happy ’80s Birthday to Mike Cubbage, who spent eight years with some really bad teams. He played for the Rangers and the Twins from 1974 through 1981.

Happy ’80s Birthday to Mark Williamson, who spent eight years with the Orioles and threw the 8th inning of a combined no-hitter in 1991.

Happy ’80s Birthday to Rich Barnes, who appeared in ten games for the White Sox and Indians. He has one major league baseball card and the photo on it isn’t him.

Bummer.
