Commissioner Peter Ueberroth concludes agreements with the Braves and Yankees to compensate other baseball owners for potential lost attendance revenue due to games broadcast by WTBS and WPIX. Negotiations continue with WGN (Cubs) and WOR (Mets). Terms are not announced but media reports put the Braves contribution at approximately $30 million over a five-year period.
