From 1985-89, Scott went 86-49 with a 2.93 E.R.A., won a Cy Young, finished 2nd another year and made three All-Star teams.

Happy ’80s Birthday to “Famous” Amos Otis, a Royals staple of the 1970s and early ’80s.

Amos spent 17 years in the bigs and racked up more than 2,000 hits while making five All-Star teams and winning three Gold Gloves.

Happy ’80s Birthday to Lou Thornton, who spent parts of five seasons in the big leagues with Toronto and the Mets. 

His first hit was an RBI single off Kirk McCaskill on May 1, 1985.
